Spoiler alert!! Greeks dont consume goat cheese!! We do always smell like garlic, olives and Pastichio, however.

This delicious Goat Cheese Dip is the perfect holiday appetizer or potluck dish. It combines tangy, creamy goat cheese with savoury olives for a unique flavor sensation. This dip will truly impress your guests or your family, and it’s so easy to make.

If you haven’t warmed your olives before serving them, you’re truly missing out! Warming olives enhance their flavour and change the eating experience!

Opens up flavors: The heat allows the olives’ flavors to shine through.  
Plumps and softens: The olives swell and become more tender.  
Absorbs more flavour: The firm flesh of the olives absorbs more flavour from the oil and other ingredients they’re cooked with.  
Feels fancy: Some say warmed olives feel special, especially if you’ve had them at restaurants.   Some recommend using olives with seeds still in them, as the pits help with flavour and heat retention.

Surprise, it’s Spatchcock! Spatchcock Chicken is the most delicious way to prepare a whole chicken for roasting. Essentially you remove the backbone and flatten the chicken to cook. This method provides quicker cooking time, crispier skin, and more flavor.

Speaking of flavour, last year I introduced you all to a new method of making Greek Chicken which involves mustard so this holiday season I wanted to French it up by using @MailleCanada Dijon Mustard in my viral Greek Chicken Marinade. It’s as simple as combining all the marinade ingredients, whisking them up and then slathering them over your prepared dried, whole chicken!

The iconic Spanakopita inspires the ingredients in this dish. The potatoes are downright AMAZING. They’re crispy on the outside and pillowy perfect on the inside - just like those butter beans! Spanakopita is traditionally served with tzatziki, but this time I wanted to bring in some Christmas Flare by including @AcmeSmokedFish Sweet Heat Smoked Salmon Dip - it’s truly one of the best Smoked Salmon Dips I have ever had.
