This dish is inspired by the iconic and Viral FoodByMaria Recipe Kotopoulo Me Patates Lemonata Sto Fourno. If you’ve tried that recipe (hundreds of you have) then you’re going to 💙 LOVE 💙this!

This is truly the simplest family dinner to exist and no only that it’s downright delicious. Fluffy rice, juicy chicken, 🍋 lemony 🧄 garlicky sauce… damn! What I love most about this dish is that is really teaches the techniques to cooking with passion, soul and instinct. Cooking the chicken on high heat till seated personal brings a base level of flavour to this dish that you can’t ignore. I love it.

I serve mine with feta, tomatoes, parsley and some of that reserved marinate (did not touch the chicken).

These easy Homemade Sesame Snaps are also known as Greek Pasteli and are made of just 2 simple ingredients. Although sweet, they’re also packed with nutrients!

Greek Pasteli is the ancient Greek version of the “power bar”. Legend has it that the combination of sesame and honey makes these Sesame Snaps little power houses packed with nutrients, antioxidants and antibacterial qualities. When I stumbled upon @partiureceber Fig Carpaccio with Prosciutto I just KNEW I needed to try this with baked feta and white honey balsamic vinegar!

Here’s the thing about me…. I grew up on figs every summer growing up in Greece. AND While YOUR family was busy sightseeing historic landmarks in Greece MY FAMILY was STUFFED in a 5 seater car with 8 of us looking over a dodgy cliff top you can’t wait to hear this one.

So, When I say my family would literally die for figs, I’m not joking! Let me paint a picture for you. Imagine the Koutsogiannis family (and then some) on a busy road surrounded by clifftops. Father Koutsogiannis pulls over to the nearest edge of said cliff top, runs across traffic to get onto private property and steals their figs! I can promise you I didn’t steal these figs, but you will be willing to climb mountains for this one!
