🪄 Tips and Tricks
- Start checking your coffee cake at 40 minutes. Ovens vary, so look for a golden-brown top and a clean toothpick test.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack. This will allow it to set and make it easier to slice.
- Let your cake cool completely before drizzling the icing – this prevents melting.
🗒 Variations
- Icing: If you prefer icing without coffee flavor, simply swap the cold brew for milk, and you’ll have plain vanilla icing instead.

Do it!!! your house will smell AMAZING. The crumble is divine! My husband and I will crush this in two days. I do not have a mixer and I did it with one of those hand whisks that you push and then rotates and it turned out great! a little more effort and time but worth it regardless.
thank you so much for the love sweetheart!!!
