Cashews: Cashews add some protein to this homemade oat milk recipe. They are also rich in fiber, protein, and healthy fats.
👩🍳 How to Make Barista Oat Milk
- Soak the cashews for 1 – 2 hours.
- Drain and rinse the cashews.
- Transfer to a blender along with the coconut flakes, oats, salt, and filtered water.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a milk bag or cheesecloth into a medium-sized bowl.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!!
- OR if you are going to make one of the flavored editions, blend the milk with the ingredients listed and pour over ice if specified. Note: the iced coffee is better if you add the milk in after the coffee if poured over ice.
- Adjust flavors to taste and enjoy!

Barista Oat Milk Blend
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews soaked
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- ½ tsp. salt
- 3 ¼ cups filtered water
To Make Iced Coffee,
- 2 cups coffee or decaf
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 dash of cinnamon
- ½ cup homemade milk
- 2 cups ice cubes
To Make Iced Chocolate Milk,
- ¼ cup Nutella
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 3 cups homemade milk
- 2 cup ice cubes
To Make Strawberry Milk,
- 1/3 cup strawberry jam
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups homemade milk
To Make Cinnamon-Date Milk,
- 2 mejooled dates
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups homemade milk
Instructions

Hi there
Has anyone tried freezing this? I want to make a larger batch to save time and to last for the week so was thinking I could put 3 days worth in the fridge and another 3 days worth in the freezer and then make agin on the 7th day! Will it freeze and defrost OK? Thanks
